Latina woman arrested for assaulting man wearing MAGA hat on Cape Cod

A Latina woman was arrested after she assaulted a man wearing a “MAGA” hat at a Mexican restaurant in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

The woman was upset because the white man, who was at the Mexican restaurant with friends, wore a hat with the slogan “Make America Great Again” (MAGA), popularized by President Donald Trump.

Rosaine Santos, a 41-year-old immigrant from Brazil who lives in Falmouth, was arrested for allegedly attacking that man, Fox News 25 reported.

According to the police, Santos was upset because a man, later identified as Bryton Turner, of Mashpee, 23, had the courage to wear the iconic red hat “MAGA” hat at the Mexican restaurant.

Turner told the police he was not playing with anyone when Santos started shouting at him for wearing that cap. Annoyed by the attitude of the woman, the young man took his phone and began to record it.

In the video, it is observed how Santos walks behind him and removes the cap from his head by force.

“That’s the problem, the problem with Americans these days, people are just ignorant,” Turner said in the video.

When police arrived at the restaurant, Santos reported that Turner should not be allowed to eat at the Mexican restaurant because of his support for President Donald Trump, who is pushing to build a wall on the US-Mexico border.

While the police were escorting Santos out of the restaurant, she allegedly gave Turner another blow.

The immigrant was charged with disorderly conduct, assault, and battery after the confrontation in the incident at the restaurant Casa Vallarta last Friday.
