Vice President Mike Pence is visiting Miami on Tuesday to announce the creation of the Latinos for Trump campaign, with the purpose of gaining support among the Hispanic community for the reelection of Donald Trump.
Minutes before heading to the Hilton Hotel Miami Airport & Convention Center, Pence visited the National Hurricane Center, where he talked with Meteorologists about the weather in the Atlantic basin during this hurricane season.
Meanwhile, a great optimism is perceived among the supporters of President Trump who come to the meeting with Pence, at a time when the health of the economy will be a key issue to dissuade Hispanics to re-elect the current president.
Among those invited to the launch of the national campaign Latinos for Trump include the deputy governor of Florida, Jeanette Nuñez, as well as a part of the Republican leadership of Miami Dade County: State Senator Manny Díaz, commissioners Esteban Bovo, José “Pepe “Diaz and Javier Souto, among others.
