2020 election predictions

President Donald Trump assured Saturday that he will win reelection in 2020 by a greater margin than in 2016, enthusing an audience of followers in the CPAC 2019 conference.

During a broad speech during the Conservative Political Action Conference, Trump mocked the Democrats for their approach to tackling climate change and said House of Representatives lawmakers pushing to expand their research on him are “sick.”

President Trump’s speech came on the same day that independent socialist senator Bernie Sanders launched his candidacy for the presidency, where he mentioned some points of his political agenda clearly distanced from the current government’s tendencies.

Trump repeated what happened during his campaign in 2016, when he overcame great difficulties and presented himself as a little known candidate who defeated established politicians to seize the White House over the Democrat Hillary Clinton.

In predicting his victory, the crowd at the conference erupted in shouts of “ USA, USA, USA.

“Our movement and our future in our country is unlimited,” Trump said in praising the conservative movement.

As he recalled 2016, the president said he was “probably more conservative than Republican,” but added that many people did not understand him.
Trump lashed out at the so-called New Green Deal of the Democrats, a policy proposal presented by some Democrats in Congress and backed to a greater or lesser extent by several of the presidential candidates of the party for the 2020 elections.

“I think the New Green Deal or whatever they call it – the Green New Dea – I recommend it,” Trump said mockingly as he finished with a series of exaggerations.

I think it’s something that they should promote. They should work hard on it … That there are no planes, that there is no energy. When the wind stops blowing it will run out of electricity. ‘We have to hurry up my love Will there be wind today? I would like to watch TV, honey. ‘”

The Democratic plan calls for a drastic reduction in emissions of greenhouse gases from fossil fuels such as oil, coal and natural gas, but in no way suggests that airplanes must remain on land or that the country change to the renewable energy only.

Another point that President Trump mentioned was freedom of expression and he said that he will soon sign an executive order to ensure that universities and academic centers respect it and keep it on campus.

“Today I am proud to announce that very soon I will sign an executive order that requires colleges and universities to support freedom of expression if they want federal research funds,” Trump said.
