The big lie against Donald Trump, uncovered: Special prosecutor Robert Mueller concludes that the Russian plot did not exist

As the big lie against Donald Trump has come out, for two years, the investigation into Trump’s supposed secret links with Russia has generated hundreds of headlines and covers that filled pages and news articles in the US and international media.

Any hint, movement or comment from the enemies of the president who participated or reported in that investigation directed by Robert Mueller was outstanding news. And reason for those imperishable headlines such as “The fence is closing”, “Trump on the ropes” or the mythical “Trump cornered”, repeated without shame.

The qualifiers for Trump’s supposedly proven faults were exhausted in these 694 days of the largest personal scrutiny operation ever done to an American president.

The report of special prosecutor Robert Mueller has concluded that no one from the campaign of the current US president, Donald Trump, nor the president himself conspired with the Russian authorities in the 2016 presidential election, according to a letter released today by Attorney General, William Barr.

“The special prosecutor’s investigation did not find that Trump’s campaign or any of the people associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia their efforts to influence the 2016 US presidential election,” Barr wrote in a letter sent to the committees. of the House of Representatives and the Senate.

According to Barr, Mueller indicated that “although this report concludes that the president did not commit a crime, it does not exonerate him either.” In a statement, the press secretary of the White House, Sarah Sanders, said that prosecutor Mueller “did not reach any conclusion about obstruction of justice.”
In this way, the document made public leaves “unresolved if the actions and the intention of the president could be seen as an obstruction” of Justice, according to Barr.

However, Barr argued that he and his deputy, Rod Rosenstein, concluded that the evidence that Mueller had gathered “is not sufficient to establish that the president committed an offense of obstruction of justice.”

The publication of Mueller’s findings puts an end to a few days of speculation after the special prosecutor delivered the report to the Department of Justice on Friday.

Neither Trump nor anyone in the White House had received Mueller’s report beforehand and he has not been informed of its content either, explained presidential spokesman Hogan Gidley, who is accompanying Trump this weekend at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

Ever since the closing of Mueller’s investigation on the alleged collusion between the Kremlin and Trump’s campaign team to harm his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, was announced on Friday, President Trump has not remained silent about it.

Members of Congress, mostly Democrats but also some Republicans, have called for the full disclosure of the report, which has raised much expectation in the US.

“It is absolutely crucial that both the full report and the evidence that supports it be disclosed to the public,” said the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Democrat Jerrold Nadler, on a Sunday debate program on CNN before to receive Barr’s summary.

As a result of this investigation, 34 people have been charged, including six Trump ex-advisors (Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, George Papadopoulos, Michael Cohen, Michael Flynn, and Roger Stone) and 26 Russians, who probably will not be tried because the United States doesn’t have an extradition treaty with Russia.

In the last two years, Trump has insisted that this investigation has constituted a “witch hunt” activated by the democratic opposition and has denied at all times that in the campaign for the elections of 2016 there had been a plot between his team and the Russian government to help him win by undermining the candidacy of Hillary Clinton.
