The approval rate of US President Donald Trump has risen to 47%, the highest since he arrived at the presidency of the White House, according to a survey released today by the “The Washington Post” and ABC.

The survey shows that 47% of Americans approve of the work that Trump is doing in the White House, in what is an increase since April, when 42% endorsed the president’s management.

However, the poll reveals that half of registered voters (50%) disapprove of the president’s way of governing.

In addition, 65% of respondents consider that Trump acts in a way that is not specific to the US president, and only 28% believe that he behaves in an “appropriate and appropriate manner”.

However, according to the interpretation of “The Washington Post,” the poll shows that Trump has a “narrow path” that could lead him to be re-elected president in the 2020 elections.

In particular, most Americans (51%) have a positive opinion about the measures that Trump has taken with respect to the economy of the country, which is in good health with a situation close to full employment.

However, 42% reject Trump’s management, although those numbers have fallen since October, when they were 46%.

When asked about how much credit the president deserved for the good health of the economy, 47% answered that “a good part”; while 48% said “just a little” or “almost nothing”.

The United States, the world’s leading economy, is experiencing a period of solid economic expansion, with an annual growth rate of 3.1% in the first quarter of 2019, spurred by the aggressive fiscal stimulus launched by Trump through tax cuts for the companies.

In fact, with respect to his tax policy, Trump wins the approval of 42% of Americans.

Meanwhile, in the area of foreign policy, between 40% and 55% of Americans have a negative opinion about the president’s decisions.

The survey was prepared through telephone interviews between June 28 and July 1. There were 1,008 adults participating and their margin of error is 3.5%.
