Trump approval rating up three points since January, according to NBC / WSJ survey

The approval rating of President Donald Trump has risen three points since January, from 43 to 46 percent, in a new poll published this Sunday by NBC and the newspaper ‘The Wall Street Journal’.

The new result is within the margin of error of the poll, of +/- 3 percentage points, is nevertheless below the intention to vote against any candidate of the Democratic Party that is elected in the next primary of the opposition, planned for next year.

According to the poll, a large majority of Republicans, 88 percent, approve of the work that Trump is doing in front of the country. About 60 percent of rural Americans and 60 percent of white Americans without college degrees also approve of Donald Trump’s performance in office.

Meanwhile, 88 percent of black Americans, 64 percent of Latinos and 61 percent of women refrain Trump in his presidential duties, according to the poll.

Regarding the intention to vote, the poll indicates that only 41 percent of voters will go to the polls “probably” or “definitely” vote for Trump in 2020, compared to 48 percent who said they would vote “probably” or ” definitely ” for the Democratic candidate.

The results of the survey are based on interviews done to 900 Americans from February 24 to February 27.
