Secret Service Uncovers “Suspicious Stand” Near Trump’s Florida Airstrip — FBI Investigating Possible Security Breach

Federal agents have opened an investigation after a “suspicious stand” was discovered near a section of Palm Beach International Airport used by Air Force One when President Trump visits Florida.

According to FBI Director Kash Patel, who confirmed the report Sunday on social media, the Secret Service located “items of interest” during a routine security sweep on Friday — just hours before Trump’s scheduled arrival.

Images released by the agency show what appears to be a makeshift hunting platform hidden high in a tree line near the airport’s perimeter.

“There was no impact to any movements and no individuals were present or involved at the location,”
said Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi in a statement.

FBI: Stand May Have Been There for Months

Sources familiar with the investigation told CBS News the structure was roughly 200 yards from the airfield, across a nearby highway. The platform was reportedly weathered and overgrown, suggesting it had been in place for several months.

The site had not been actively used by the Secret Service in the past year due to ongoing construction. Once Air Force One resumed landings at the updated section of the airport, the suspicious platform was discovered immediately during the first sweep.

No individuals have been linked to the stand, and officials have not disclosed whether it had any surveillance equipment or weapons-related materials attached.

Security Concerns Mount After Multiple Attempts on Trump’s Life

The discovery adds new tension to what has already been a year of heightened security threats surrounding President Trump.

Palm Beach is less than a mile from Trump’s golf club, the same location where Ryan Routh attempted an assassination plot last year. Routh was convicted just last month for allegedly setting up a rifle in a nearby tree line before being shot at by Secret Service agents.

That attack came just two months after the Butler, Pennsylvania rally, where a bullet grazed President Trump’s ear — an incident that rocked the nation and led to the suspension of several Secret Service agents.

Now, with another suspicious object discovered near Trump’s Florida operations, conservatives are demanding accountability.

“If this had been any other political figure, the media would be calling it an act of domestic terror,”
one Florida security analyst told The Florida Pundit. “But because it’s Trump, the story barely makes the evening news.”

The Bottom Line

The FBI and Secret Service continue to analyze the site and materials, but early indications suggest no immediate threat was active. Still, the repeated breaches raise serious questions about presidential protection under the Biden-era Secret Service, already criticized for past failures.

Trump departed Palm Beach International Airport on Sunday after a weekend at Mar-A-Lago — once again proving that even amid threats and political chaos, he remains unshaken and moving forward.
