Supporters of President Trump launch a new super PAC, dubbed "MAGA Inc."

Top Trump allies are creating a new super PAC that could become a key part of his campaign infrastructure if he runs for president in 2024.

The political action committee, called MAGA Inc., will replace Trump’s existing super PAC, which was first reported by Politico.
The paperwork for the new committee was filed with the Federal Election Commission on Friday morning.

The announcement of the new super PAC comes less than two months before the midterm elections on November 8, and at a time when many Republican candidates have struggled to raise funds against well-funded Democrats.

Trump spokesman Taylor Budowich, who will serve as the group’s executive director, stated, “President Trump is committed to saving America, and Make America Great Again, Inc. will ensure that this is accomplished at the ballot box in November and beyond.”

In addition, Republican strategist Chris LaCivita, longtime Trump pollster Tony Fabrizio, and communications aides Steven Cheung and Alex Pfeiffer have joined the committee.

Trump’s primary political vehicle has been his leadership PAC, Save America, which must adhere to far stricter fundraising and spending limits and has come under its own scrutiny.
Super PACs are permitted to raise and spend unlimited funds but are prohibited from coordinating directly with campaigns.

Trump is widely expected to run for president again, but the timing of a formal announcement is uncertain.

Mitch McConnell, who is the leader of the Senate’s minority party, has told candidates who have Trump’s support to ask him for money.
In the meantime, candidates, some of whom ran campaigns during their primaries in which they portrayed themselves as McConnell’s opponents, have been forced to grovel before him and the Senate Leadership Fund, a super PAC that he controls and which had a reserve of $100 million dollars as of the end of June.

Trump played a prominent role in the Republican primaries, endorsing hundreds of candidates for positions ranging from governor to county commissioner.
