Trump: “I’m in the Oval Office, Democrats, come back from your vacations”

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump today called on Democratic congressmen to return from their vacations to vote for more funds for the country’s border security in the budget and to reopen part of the administration closed for 10 days.

“I am in the Oval Office, Democrats, return from your vacations now and give us the necessary votes for the security of the border, including the wall, you voted yes in 2006 and 2013. Once again, yes, but with me in front. I’ll build it, and fast! “Trump said in his official Twitter account.

Trump said that the “correct” construction of a wall on the border with Mexico will work “almost 100%” to avoid the flows of illegal immigration and drug trafficking that pass through the southern border of the United States.

The president described as “incredible” that Democrats say that building a wall is an old-fashioned idea that does not work.

Since last December 22, the Administration entered its third partial government closure after the negotiation between Republicans and Democrats in Congress came to a standstill as a result of Trump’s requirement that the budget proposal includes more than 5,000 million dollars for the border wall

Both the government and congressmen have indicated that the cessation of activities may continue until the beginning of January when the Democrats take control of the Lower House and could approve financing from the Administration without allocating funds for the wall desired by Trump.

This is the third partial government closure Trump faces since he came to power in early 2017: the first came in January of this year, coinciding with his first anniversary in the White House, and lasted for three days; while the second was in February and lasted only a few hours.
