Trump says public safety ‘first’ ahead of Dorian

President Donald Trump warned that public safety “should always come first and urged everyone who resides on Hurricane Dorian’s path to obey the warnings and evacuation orders of local authorities.

Trump said he and his staff members are receiving frequent updates on the “monstrous” storm “to ensure we are fully prepared. And we are fully prepared.”

In statements offered from the headquarters of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, FEMA, in Washington, Trump said that the slow-moving hurricane is one of the largest that has materialized and referred to the expectation that much of the The east coast of the US will be affected, and a part of it “very, very severely.”

The Hurricane Center confirmed Sunday that Dorian’s maximum sustained winds remained at a monstrous speed of 185 mph, with higher gusts recorded in some areas.

Dorian was located at two o’clock this Sunday about 185 miles east of West Palm Beach, Florida, and still moving west.
