A coalition of American Jewish leaders publicly thanked President Donald Trump for his global leadership in combating anti-Semitism, purchasing a full-page advertisement in The New York Times to express their support.
The message, paid for by the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC), highlights Trump’s actions on Israel, Iran, and rising anti-Semitic rhetoric in Western politics. It also criticizes Democrats for embracing movements that push policies hostile to Israel.
“Thank you, President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, for the appointment of Elan Carr as Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism,” the ad reads.

Quoting U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres’ warning that anti-Semitism is “rising in all parts of the world,” the RJC argues that hostility toward the Jewish people is now openly embraced by groups calling for boycotts, divestment, and sanctions against Israel.
The advertisement stresses that such hatred is no longer confined to extremist regimes like Iran. “Anti-Semitic voices can now be heard in the halls of the British Parliament and even the U.S. Congress,” it says.
The organization vows to stand “shoulder to shoulder” with President Trump in declaring “Never Again,” and commits to supporting the administration’s ongoing efforts to fight anti-Jewish hatred worldwide.
Trump’s Broader Stand Against Anti-Semitism
During his State of the Union address, Trump underscored his administration’s fight against radical extremism—including his decision to confront ISIS and withdraw from what he called Iran’s ‘disastrous’ nuclear deal.
“We will not turn our eyes away from a regime that chants death to the United States and threatens genocide against the Jewish people,” Trump said.
He issued a stark reminder of the consequences of ignoring rising hatred, describing anti-Semitism as a “vile poison” that must be confronted with a united, unwavering voice.
Honoring Victims and Survivors
The president honored the 11 victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue massacre in Pittsburgh and recognized survivors Judah Samet and Holocaust survivor Joshua Kaufman during the address. Their presence, Trump said, served as a powerful reminder that America must confront hatred wherever it appears.
A Defining Policy Shift on Israel
Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv continues to resonate strongly within the American Jewish community. For many, it remains one of the most significant shifts in U.S. foreign policy toward Israel in modern history.
The full-page New York Times ad reflects that sentiment, marking a rare, unified public show of support from Jewish leaders who say Trump has taken unprecedented steps to protect Jewish communities worldwide.
