Trump announces his candidacy for the second presidential term

President Donald Trump announced in a rally in the city of Orlando, Florida, on June 18 his decision to participate in the presidential elections of 2020 as a Republican candidate.

Trump has made it known at the Amway Center, which has a capacity of 20,000 seats and was full of enthusiastic supporters of the current president.

“We’re going to keep making America big again, and then we’ll keep the US big, better than ever before, and that’s why tonight I’m in front of you, to officially launch my campaign for a second term as president of the United States. ” Trump announced. “I promise you I will never disappoint you,” he added.

Trump had anticipated the morning of Tuesday that the site would be packed, when through his personal account on Twitter he said that the event “is going to be wild”.

“Few presidents have been able to do what we have been able to do for you, and this is a great feeling, thank you, I love you,” said the White House tenant during the rally.

Previously, the president said in a tweet that “Republican enthusiasm is at its highest point.” However, data from a recent survey, conducted between June 9 and 12, which revealed that Trump could fall behind five Democratic candidates in the 2020 presidential elections, seems to contradict the Republican leader.
