Paul Ryan retracts: Trump will win re-election due to his “record of achievements”

The former president of the House of Representatives, Paul Ryan, said that President Donald Trump will win re-election in 2020, due to his “record of achievements” and his innovative ideas for the country.

Through a message posted on his official Twitter account, Ryan wanted to clarify his previous comments and came out in defense of the Trump Administration, assuring that the achievements made during these two years of his presidency, will lead him to win re-election.

The comment comes a few hours after Ryan seemed to leave open the possibility that Trump has lost the election of 2020. The person who defines that race will win the race. If it’s about Donald Trump and his personality, he’s not going to win, “Ryan said during a conference in Florida.

One of the president’s sons, Donald Trump Jr. (Don), came out in defense of his father and lashed out against the former president of the House, labeling him as a “liar” and a loser.

Ryan left office in early January, after the Republicans lost control during the mid-term elections held last November.
