U.S. Rep. Laurel Lee Endorses Blaise Ingoglia for Florida CFO

Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia received another significant endorsement this week as U.S. Representative Laurel Lee announced her support for his 2026 campaign.

Lee, who represents Florida’s 15th Congressional District, praised Ingoglia’s record of conservative leadership and fiscal accountability, adding another influential Republican voice to his growing list of supporters.

The endorsement comes as Ingoglia seeks a full term as Florida’s Chief Financial Officer after being appointed to the position by Governor Ron DeSantis in 2025 following the departure of former CFO Jimmy Patronis to Congress.

A Key Endorsement in a Statewide Race

Laurel Lee remains one of Florida’s most prominent Republican members of Congress and previously served as Florida Secretary of State before her election to Congress. Her endorsement provides additional credibility and visibility for Ingoglia as he continues building support ahead of the 2026 election cycle.

Political observers note that endorsements from federal lawmakers often help statewide candidates expand fundraising networks and strengthen grassroots support across multiple regions of Florida.

Ingoglia Builds Statewide Coalition

Since taking office as CFO, Ingoglia has focused heavily on property tax relief, insurance affordability, government accountability, and identifying wasteful spending within government. Those issues have become central themes of his campaign as he seeks election to a full four-year term.

A former chairman of the Republican Party of Florida and former state senator, Ingoglia has long been considered one of Governor Ron DeSantis’ closest political allies. His appointment to the CFO position elevated him to one of Florida’s most important statewide offices.

Why the CFO Race Matters

While governor and congressional races often receive the most attention, the Chief Financial Officer oversees many of the state’s most critical financial responsibilities, including state finances, insurance oversight, auditing functions, and financial accountability programs.

With property insurance costs remaining a major concern for Florida homeowners, the CFO race is expected to attract increased attention from voters and political organizations throughout the campaign.

Why It Matters

Laurel Lee’s endorsement signals continued establishment Republican support for Blaise Ingoglia as he prepares for a statewide campaign. In a state where endorsements often shape donor networks and grassroots organization, support from a sitting member of Congress could further strengthen Ingoglia’s position heading into 2026.
