POLL: Donald Trump Gains Latino Support Amid Government Shutdown

Most Americans will be surprised to learn that President Donald Trump’s approval rating among Latinos has just reached the highest level registered for any Republican President, improving by 20 points since the government shutdown in December.

This is one of the biggest surprises that will affect the United States this year and in 2020 is the realization of the number of Latinos in the United States who now consider themselves conservatives.

In a poll in December 2011, 67% of Hispanics said they were Democrats, and 20% said they were Republicans, but a new set of January 2019 polls released today revealed that 29% of Hispanics said they were Republicans. In other words, Latinos “vigorously approve” President Trump’s work and another 22% “approve” his work, which gives an approval rating among Latinos of 51% on average, a little more than half.

The interesting part is that these numbers come from the latest surveys from PBS NewsHour, NPR and Marist (liberals). This means that President Trump is the most popular conservative president for Latinos in the United States’ history and for the first time, the majority of Latinos support the Republican president.

There are many reasons why most Latinos currently support the President. One important reason is that Latinos have become the most entrepreneurial demographic in the United States, and here in South Florida, they are responsible for initiating most of the new small businesses. In addition to that, Latin companies in the United States are growing faster than those of any other demographic group.

Latino support for the President steady despite Trump immigration talk

President Trump’s tax cuts will help them significantly with their 2018 tax returns, which would explain why their support reached record highs this month, perhaps after these business owners realized how much more of their income they would get. Thanks to the President’s tax cuts.

The growing Latino support for President Trump is also related to immigration and socialism. Upcoming Democratic Socialist politicians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez worry Latinos who know the truth about socialism. We could talk for a long time about why Latinos support President Trump at record levels, but for now, we have to share this news.

Many Latinos do not realize how many people agree with their political beliefs because the mainstream media masks it. Once conservative Latinos realize that they have strength in numbers, more organization can be carried out and, therefore, conservative Latinos will be able to exert the political influence they deserve.
