Trump Campaign Asks for Donations to Send Fake Bricks to Pelosi, Schumer

President Donald Trump is trying a campaign against his Democratic opponents which involves buying fake bricks that have written border security data to be sent to the offices of Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, and Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer, according to an email sent to the Trump supporters on Friday.

“Together, we can build a BIG BEAUTIFUL WALL around their offices to protect us from their radical left-wing agenda,” the message adds.

On the website buildtheborderwall.com, anyone who wishes can donate $ 20 to send a foam brick to Pelosi or Schumer. The idea, which the site describes as “brilliant”, was Trump’s own, and his goal would be “to make sure that Chuck and Nancy have no choice but to listen to the American people,”.

“We have set the goal of sending 100,000 bricks to their offices to demonstrate that the walls work,” explains the description of the campaign, which will last a limited time, but also offers the option to convert the donation into a monthly income that would continue to be paid even once finished.

On Saturday, the president gave a speech at the White House in which he offered the Democrats to extend two immigration protections, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and the Temporary Protection Status (TPS). ), in exchange for funding for a wall on the border with Mexico.

Several months ago, Trump was about to accept an agreement that would have financed the construction of the wall in exchange for protections for dreamers. But the agreement did not prosper.
